Carrig UK has a commitment to provide efficient and effective solutions to the UK market, with a view to giving UK architects, developers and local authorities access to our specialised stone services. Carrig UK is involved in a number of high profile commercial projects in Manchester, Sheffield and London.
Carrig was formed in 1993 from an International Research Programme funded by the EU. During this time, our founder Peter Cox was working in the UK, with his partner at the time based in Dublin — the company was therefore registered in Ireland with two main offices, one in Dublin and one in Manchester, England. Once established, the Dublin office became the headquarters and we developed our main UK office in London — required mainly to support our largest project at that time, The Tate Modern.
We are now based at 70 – 77 Cowcross Street, Farringdon in the company of Alan Baxter and many similar specialist construction and design companies. Since our formation we have offered our full set of services to the UK market with a large portfolio of high profile projects.
