The JOURNEY TO SUSTAINABILITY IN HERITAGE

The annual Institute of Historic Buildings Conservation Yearbook of 2023 focused on the theme of Climate Change and the Historic Environment - Resilience and Performance. In this edition, Peter Cox, wrote a piece on the Journey to Sustainability in Heritage, detailing the recent developments in legislation, research and initiatives that are moving the built environment, and more specifically, traditional buildings into a more sustainable future.
