Petra holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Ancient History and Archaeology, as well as History of Art and Architecture, and a postgraduate diploma in Applied Building Repair and Conservation, all from Trinity College Dublin.
She has hands-on experience in archaeological excavations, GPS surveying, and photogrammetry, and previously worked as a Quality Engineer for a tier-one construction contractor on large-scale sites. In 2024, she joined PCA as a Surveyor and Revit technician, with a focus on market development, conservation, and heritage-led sustainability in the built environment. In April 2025, Petra began working with Carrig Conservation as a Conservation Consultant, where she contributes conservation expertise and oversight across a range of heritage projects. Petra’s professional aim is to integrate heritage values and sustainable methods across multidisciplinary construction projects, ensuring the continued relevance and resilience of Ireland’s historic built environment. Sample Projects: Project - St. Vincent's Hospital, Fairview, Dublin 3 Duration - Ongoing Description - Conservation Consultant for the refurbishment of protected structures and development of new healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include conservation reporting, on-site monitoring, and advising on materials and repair methods. |
