Aingeal is a qualified building conservation and planning consultant with a passion for historical buildings' adaptation and reuse.
Aingeal has worked within the architectural and conservation industry since 2005, encompassing a broad range of professional expertise across a variety of projects, with exceptional project management skills and qualifications. Experience in historic reports writing, appraisals, inventories, impact assessment, statements of significance, condition reports, specification and supervisions. Aingeal also holds a BSc (Hons) in Energy Management Buildings. Proficient in the evaluation and inspection of heritage buildings, examining energy performance, and the effects of energy efficiency measures, while focusing on sustainable energy management with consideration to current energy statutory requirements, to improve building energy efficiency and performance, within the historic building fabric. Aingeal’s experience as a conservation consultant and architectural technician includes historical research report writing; recording; measuring surveys; building inventories; impact statements; specification report writing; architectural drawing detailing design and adaptation of historical structures with design comments; advice and project management. Her current work include supervising conservation works on Butler's Gallery, Co. Kilkenny and writing the conservation report and and specifications for refurbishment of the Stone Grotto and Ice house in Dublin College University (DCU).
